Units are distributed between the bases of Djibouti City, Obock and Tadjoura. A scheduled maintenance cycle ensures that part of the fleet remains available at all times for rescue missions.

The racing stripe, a mark of recognition

The diagonal blue and green stripe painted on every hull is the Coast Guard's distinctive mark. Set at 64 degrees, it allows immediate identification at sea, by day as well as on radar at night.
